Honey is a wonderful, natural, all around beauty weapon that packs more than just a sweet punch. It has been proven to have actual nutritional benefits, naturally containing a wide array of vitamins and minerals which include zinc, magnesium, iron, etc.... Ohhh... yes and antioxidants that could potentially help battle the signs of aging. Not only that, honey is an all natural humectant, this means honey attracts and helps retain skin moisture.
Here are a few Beauty Honey Recipes:

Super Healthy. Super Tasty. Turkey Meatballs.
I have been experimenting with Turkey Meatballs. I literally make up the recipe as I go. You can add or remove any ingredient you want. Make it fun! They are great little balls of protein snacks which you can eat between meals. Or you can make it a meal, and eat with a bowl of pasta drizzled with marinara sauce, sprinkled with freshly shaved parmesan cheese. Mmmmm....mouth watering!
- 1 package of Ground Turkey
-Bragg liquid Amino Acid (a substitue for Soy Sauce) you can buy at Whole Foods
-1 tbsp Chopped Garlic
-2 whole carrots,...

Im not ashamed to admit it....I do love the finer things in life. Im pretty sure its the "Leo" that comes out in me. For those of you who don't know (or are stuck underneath a rock) Im referring to my astrological sign. I would consider a Thai massage to be one of the finer things in life. In fact I had one this evening and it inspired me to write a post about it.
I have my regular place I go to. Its called Thai Classic Massage, on Melrose and Vine (for those located in the Greater Los Angeles area). Its 40 bucks for ONE hour! And that is ONE hour of heaven. I have my "lady",...
CABELLA: helping woman look and feel healthier. Naturally.
I have finally found a hair care line that I can be in a monogamous relationship with. My very dear friend Lauren introduced me to the product line when she started working for them. She raved, and raved about Cabella. I will admit I was a bit hesitant. Of course you love the product Lauren, you are working for them. She was so confident that I would be a repeat customer she sent me the entire line. Ewww -Weee, opening that package was like X-Mas day. The packaging itself is beautiful. I thought anything that looks that good, must...
Silk Prevents Wrinkles?! What...???
That’s right ladies, you heard me. Silk isn't only for dresses and your negligees but for your pillow case as well. The myth is correct; sleeping on silk prevents wrinkles, especially crows feet (yuck!). It’s time to ditch those cotton covers and upgrade yourself to the finer things in life.
It’s a proven fact. The weight of your head pushing your face against your pillow case causes "sleep lines" or wrinkles. Of course we all wish we had self-control and were perfect sleeping beauties who naturally sleep face up (never gunna happen ladies). When...
Working with clients on a daily basis- wether it be my private clientele, a company I am freelancing for, or working on set. They are constantly asking for quick fixes, or new cosmetics on trend. Lately I have noticed many colored mascara requests. Finally people being bold,.LOVE IT!
Lacquering your lashes in colorful shades is a great way to enhance your eyes. If you’re uncomfortable with wearing vivid shadows, tweaking your lash hue is daring, yet subtle. While common mascara options such as navy blues and dark plums are a great alternative for those who want a subtle shift, many of my clients...
Make-Up Artist: Dana Waldie
Hair Stylist: Robert Reyes,
From runway, to national campaign adds, to Zihuatanejo, Mexico for her destination wedding I was overjoyed to do the make-up for model Amy Olson for her special day. She put her trust in my hands to make her beautiful for her wedding day. Amys main objective was to make her skin flawless, glowing, and as natural as possible. My main objective on the other hand, was to apply the make-up so that it didn't run or sweat off within 2 seconds of application. Zihuatanejo is unbearably hot and humid. Reaching both 100 degrees...
